The volunteer workforce posses a wide range of skills and undertake all aspects of repair and overhaul work. Additionally, on completion of training and examination they provide train crews for the many diesel hauled services and stock movements on the railway.
Most work is undertaken at the weekends and on a mid-week night with additional shifts as and when required.
